Direct Care Professional
DSP's work directly with the youth to provide care and supervision 24/7.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Supervising youth by overseeing their performance, while acknowledging the strengths and limitations of each resident within the treatment center and related activities. Assisting youth with daily activities, scheduled. Oversee and assist, when necessary, with the completion of household chores, which are rotated daily and are listed on the board in the dining room. Aid with house shopping/meal preparation, all done with youth involvement to teach independent living skills. Menus are made by the administrator, with the aid of youth.
Maintain awareness of resident safety and follow safety policy.
Provide a safe environment and be aware of emergency numbers posted on every floor. Promote and support a positive environment for youth. Teach independent living skills. We are here to prepare youth to be able to leave the treatment center, functioning independently.
Program Manager
The Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring all youth are connected to and receiving the appropriate care and services. The Program Manager will be a direct conduit of information between the youth’s Social Services Worker (Child Protective Services), family and R2RTC. The Program Manager will work in partnership with the R2RTC administrator to provide excellent wrap around services and supports for the residential youth. This person will also be responsible for ensuring compliance related to ARF, OHMAS and The Department of Behavioral Health.
